Residential Study Weekend for City & Guilds Level 1 Hand or Machine Embroidery

Come and stay at Belsey Bridge Conference Centre NR35 2DZ in Suffolk from 18:00 Friday 27 September until 16:00 Sunday 29 September.

This is an all-inclusive, intensive, tutored weekend to enable you to BEGIN, MOVE ON, COMPLETE or EXTEND your course. The course is designed for those not confident in working alone or who would like the fun and friendship of a group course. Expert tutors will be on hand throughout to create an easy atmosphere, share good food and encourage productive study.

Choose from full en-suite single residential accommodation with an option of free transfer from Norwich OR day attendance including evening dinner and after dinner sessions on Friday and Saturday.

Hot drinks are available throughout the working day.

Please arrive at the Belsey Bridge Conference Centre NR35 2DZ between 5pm and 6pm on Friday. The centre is clearly sign-posted off the Norwich to Bungay road just south of Hedenham.   • All art and design materials needed will be supplied as part of the course. Additional items required will be available to purchase (e.g. dissolvable fabrics).
  • It is possible to rent a sewing machine for the weekend on a first come first served basis.
  • A second follow-up weekend (date to be arranged) should allow completion of level 1 in total or you may complete your course online. Progress will vary from student to student but expect to be pleasantly surprised.

    • Embroidery hoops
